Rashmi’s unique understanding of the synergies and opportunities between Australia and India and appreciation of Australia and South-West Pacific culture was gained during her recent three-year deployment to Australia supporting her spouse who was India’s Defence Advisor to Australia. During this time, she acted as his support in his official duties in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.

On return to India, she has worked in the maritime industry as an Assistant General Manager for Business Development, executed ship operations and supported maritime and logistics operations.

Rashmi is passionate about business development, education, and maritime operations and approaches challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset. With an extensive understanding of Indian and South-West Pacific commercial and geo-political matters, Rashmi offers her clients deep intelligence on matters of importance which can enhance or affect commercial and operational matters in the region.

Having lived in Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, and Karwar, Rashmi has extensive and well-developed senior Government and commercial networks.

Rashmi’s local impact programs include the development of a school in Uttar Pradesh (India) and actively supports non-profit organizations to improve the welfare of spouses of defence forces.
